Wow!!!! This book was incredible. It's an action-packed crime thriller, filled with many twists and turns. The book is intense and fast-paced. This book helped me get out of my reading slump, it was so hard to put this book down as each page leaves you wanting to know more and more. The writing style is incredible, and right from the beginning you feel absorbed into the narrative.
I loved the characters Leigh and Callie and their personalities. I also liked the inclusion of the current Covid-19 pandemic, it makes the book feel more contemporary. I liked how the story ended in the place where everything began.
I would recommend this book to others, it is a fantastic read. This is one of the first books I have read by Karin Slaughter, and I will definetly be checking out some of her other books. This was an easy read and has to be one of my favourite crime thrillers I have read this year.
