I absolutely loved this book, I have read (and loved) previous works by Karin Slaughter and this lived up to my enjoyment of the others, it certainly didn't disappoint!
It was also really interesting reading about current things - Covid/British lockdown etc. Although, wisely she kept her own opinions regarding this to a minimal.
The writing style is quite easy to read but also extremely enjoyable. It flowed well and was generally easy to follow the story. The character development and flashbacks were an interesting choice to include, some people might find this a little difficult to follow - although I found the flashbacks an enjoyable way to find out about the relevant information of what had happened in the past.
The strength of the main protagonist is remarkable and I feel this says a lot about the author herself.
I would recommend this book and I will look out for other novels from this author.
