Great Read!
If you'd like a taste of crime-fuelled 1970's Glasgow then Alan Park's 'February's Son' might be a good match for you. This is a Harry McCoy thriller book, and although I haven't read the first in the series, I really enjoyed this book and found it easy to pick up McCoy's character and world.
This is a story about drugs, violence and gang wars on the streets of Glasgow; it's also a story of how your past can haunt your future, Harry is a complex character and certainly goes on quite a journey in this book.
It's fast paced, violent, adventurous and rooted in a well plotted story of murder, kidnapping and turmoil.
I would recommend this for reader's who enjoy gritty crime thrillers, and I can see a lot more mileage for Harry McCoy and this book series.
Highly recommended.
