I was eager to start reading this book as I love a good thriller. I liked the way it started with the thoughts and actions of the killer. It then went by date from 10th February until 19th February.
The plot was excellent and kept me guessing the killers next move. The mixture of good guy McCoy and his friend, bad guy Cooper who had known each other since when they were younger. The plot which revolved around their experiences back then with a leading figure better known as Uncle Kenny, Chief Constable Burgess was a page turner. The way McCoy and Cooper respected, and at times, looked out for each other was a good twist to the plot.
I felt I got to know the characters, some more likeable than others and the lengths they would go to to survive. All in all a brilliant book.
