Wow, I have actually managed to pick up a book that is not one which is in the middle of a series! This is book one in a Riley and Harris, what I hope will be a series, which is a crime and mystery book, written by Alex Caan, a new author to me.
This book managed to have me hooked from even the prologue as it is far from what I expected this book to be, even the tagline alone had me wanting to read more, it is something that I just knew that I would enjoy.
Even though I have harped on about how much I enjoyed this book, I do not know how to put into coherent sentences on how much, there is not much I think I can say at the minute. I was hesitant to start this book at first as I thought that I would not like it, but this time, I did. Very much!
I think that the fact that the chapters were moderately short meant that it was easy enough for me to get through the book without becoming bored and losing my train of thought.
10/10, would recommend reading!
