Well-being is the big thing at the moment, and there is a plethora of books purporting to tell you how to maximise your personal well-being. This book falls on the edge of these books, and has something to offer albeit in the short-term. There is some good advice in this book and it looks at the whole of life, rather than just eating and exercise habits. However, it is a book of its time (as it focusses on problems in this day and age) and I am concerned that it may quickly become outdated. This is a problem with many self-help books and I don't feel that there is anything in this book that will stand the test of time. The book begins well, and I enjoyed the descriptions of his family life, but it didn't completely hold my interest and I found myself dipping in and out in-between other books I wanted to read. It is a pity because I really wanted to like this book, but it fell a bit short.
