I liked the fact that this self help style book was very straightforward and simplified health and well being in a way that doesn’t promote complicated diets and fitness regimes. The author was also generally quite straight talking and set the advice out in a clear to follow format. He also didn’t use a lot of peppy motivational talk like in most self help books. I did find that I picked up a few good tips to follow to help maintain and healthier lifestyle.
The author is a GP which I liked as I knew that I could trust the advice that he was giving. He is also a Christian so quite a lot about faith is included in the book, but used in a way which could be relevant to someone who doesn’t follow a religion.
Overall, I did enjoy this book and found it beneficial to read. I think it would be a good starting point for someone who is a bit confused about how to improve their general health and well being.
