Hmm...where to start with this one, it is certainly quirky but the narrative flow is quite good, somehow it just all feels a little disjointed to this reader. The descriptions of Karl taming his seal to help him hunt the oneblood is well done and creates a stunning visual. However, it felt more like a series of vignettes than a cohesive whole.
