This surprised me as it isn't the type of book I'd usually go for, not being a lover of the fantasy genre. However I found myself being drawn into the story after reading the opening chapters and wondering what would happen next. The premise and the setting is imaginative and there's just enough of a chilling feel to make it the ideal read for the lengthening nights. And the cover is gorgeous.
