I think that this book was amazing! It was an unique story and the characters were very interesting.
I loved the cover and the illustration went with the feel of this book.
My personal favourite character was Cassie’s father as he had a very sweet and funny personality. I also really liked Cassie as she was a really thoughtful and smart girl.
My favourite part of the story was when the Cherub was discovered by Cassie and how the two had made such a close bond and were able to understand each other without being able to speak to one another.
From reading this book, I found a similarity between Violet Baudelaire from A Series Of Unfortunate Events and with Cassie. Both are smart, determined young people, and they both protect those around them.
If the author was to come out with a sequel to this book or a standalone, I would be very excited to read it!
