scrolling down the main pages of "books" I saw this very intriguing book and immediately knew it was fantasy and I to read the blurb. I loved how the blurb included text from the book so it gives an idea of its writing style and I actually quite enjoyed the few lines. It does an amazing job as presenting the atmosphere are sinister and mysterious, and I love the sprinkle of humour. The ending finished quite quickly ,making it a perfect book to read if your bored and want a little bit of magic, but did take me by surprise. It also included scenes with the family which made sense why they added a description of her family and friends on the blurb. overall I loved the book, I cant wait to read another book form this author, i am eagerly waiting for a second book and the ending wasn't quite clear which is totally fine as now it increases the likeliness i will read a sequel.
