Last year I read The Amateurs the first book in this series and I absolutely loved it. So when I eventually picked up Follow Me I expected to love it just as much as the first book. However I didn’t. This one fell flat for me, it didn’t have that excitement, that mystery that you get from the first book. So I ended up extremely disappointed in this book. It has made me question on whether I should pick up the third book too, I don’t want to be let down any more so it’s something I need to contemplate. This had potential to be a great series but I definitely felt like the sequel was unnecessary. I feel like Sara Shepard could have wrapped the story up in the first book and I would have been completely satisfied, however I am let down by such a weak sequel. I’m not saying it’s completely bad just compared to the first book it was nothing . I hope that if I do decide to pick up the third book that I’m not left this disappointed
