I loved this book - it’s even better than the first one in the series! The stakes are higher, the writing is action packed and it ends on a total cliffhanger! I love the character development in this book, especially the exploration of relationships within the group. I felt the characters relationships with their parents, although not frequently mentioned, were realistic - which is more than I can say for a lot of books! My only slight complain is that I do find myself muddling up the main characters. I don’t feel they are distinct enough in name or characterisation for me to not have to work out who’s who every few pages! However, this is easily resolved by making a note of who’s who and how they are related to everyone else - plus you’ve got yourself a bookmark! I absolutely cannot wait for the next one!
