I like reading books set in London and this was no exception.
The story starts with a teenager being stabbed and dying as a result. The team assigned to the murder try to track down the other boy who was with him, but who disappeared when the off duty paramedic was trying to save a life.
It turns out the other boy is Ryan, who although he is still young, is involved with the local gang, The Bluds. A gang which is involved in setting up a big arms buy which is being watched by another group of Police and their operation is taking first place before the murder.
The book explores the relationships within the gangs, but also the hierarchy of the Police and how one wrong word can cause all sorts of strife.
