This is a really good book,kept me enthralled from beginning to end.
A boy is stabbed, he is 15 and part of a gang, his friend did ring for help for him but then ran away.
It is left to DI Sarah Collins and DC Lizzie Griffiths to find what has happened, finding the Witness wasn’t proving easy though.
The story also goes in to DC Lizzie Griffiths family life, a single mother with lots to do.
The case eventually turns out to be part of something a lot bigger and by the actions of finding out who the culprit was could undermine an undercover investigation that is being worked on so what should they do, keep following it or leave it to the bigger teams.
It seems that this is book 3 in the series but it doesn’t matter if you haven’t read the other two as this is a very good stand alone book,would recommend it
