Not for the faint hearted.
I was very pleased to win a copy of this book and dived in expecting to be on the edge of my seat and gripped from the first page to the last.
It was a slow burner for me and I did find it almost a little too slow in parts. The character development was good although I didn’t feel as close to them as I expected too which didn’t help with the distance and slow pace.
Location wise I found it very confusing and all over the place. This added to making it difficult to connect and follow.
Some quite gritty and Gruesome parts which I didn’t necessarily expect or maybe not in as much detail.
Liked the idea of the plot and storyline but I just wasn’t gripped enough and did struggle to get through this book.
It is however out for my normal genre so this may be more about me and my type of preferred book rather than the book itself.
