I could easily describe this book in one word: Amazing! From the unassuming start with the family all together to the phone call all seems well. Then a game of cat and mouse starts with various agencies and parties involved in tracking and find the link to what's happening and what will happen.
This thriller takes you back to the cold War feelings whilst keeping up with this modern day story. As the story progresses and you find out more about each characters past and involvement with each other you start to build up an image of the world they live in.
This story is a brilliant way to bring to life the feelings of the period whilst also making you root for different characters. Using the perspective of several different characters being in the same scene at different times in the story is fascinating. This book is a definite must to read!!!
