A New Favourite
This book intrigued me after reading the first few chapters via Readers First ‘first look’. Sometimes when I’ve read sample chapters of a book, I haven’t gone on to enjoy the rest, but this exceeded my expectations!
It’s told backwards, which really worked for me, even though I had my doubts when I read reviews about it. It made it a very clever part of the plot and kept me reading to work out what on earth was going on.
I was fascinated by Jule, the main character. I didn’t particularly her, but I very much enjoyed the way the author carefully revealed her story as the book progressed. There is so much more I want to mention but I really don’t want to spoil it for you.
If you enjoy a quirky thriller, then this is definitely for you.
