Captivating
I was immediately struck by the front cover, which I'm sure would have drawn me towards it in a bookshop. It's the right mixture of bright enough to capture your attention, while avoiding looking garish.
The writing, from what was available, drew me in. It was the right balance of descriptive whole still being an easy read. Intriguing, but bot revealing anything too soon which would make any therorising over the direction of the plot moot.
The character dynamics were well done, and seemed natural- as well as them having amazingly captivating presentation. It made them appear more alive, and breathed a life of realism into them in the way that some do not.
I'm really interested to see where it will go, and felt a feeling of frustration as a result when I could not read on. All in all a good book so far! I really enjoyed what I read, and I am curious as to how it will continue.
