I am not really a fan of historical fiction based books and that's how I felt reading this. The design and title of the book is misleading and makes it come across suitable for a younger age bracket. Although I found the name interesting to and the cover colourful, it would be better suited with a more plain designed cover for the genre. The story itself is probably better after the first look I just struggle to focus on this genre like I would with fantasy, crime thriller etc. Although some elements of the book range from serious to comical it is not the type of book I would personally go out and buy for myself or for friends and families but I'm sure a lot of people probably feel more involved in the book than I do, I just couldn't visualise the story like I usually can which made it more difficult to focus on imagining characters and scenarios.
