My review:
I really wanted to love and enjoy this book. I give it 2.5 stars. The cover is lovely- bright yellow and stands on on my shelf but apart from that and a naughty grandmas, I don’t really have many positive thoughts. This makes me very very sad.

So what’s it about?
This story focuses on three generations of a dysfunctional Irish family. Nothing seems to go right for them.
What did I enjoy?
My favourite character was the shoplifting grandma (what more could you want). I love seeing older characters with a naughty side.
What went wrong?
I cannot put my finger on it, maybe the pace was off, maybe there were more characters who I didn’t click with, maybe at times it seemed too over the top. I just don’t know.
I was incredibly lucky to receive a copy of this book and I really hope that it gels better with others than it did for me.
