I really love the bright colours on the cover of this book and I really looked forward to sitting down to read it.

The book is about 3 generations of a Dublin family - Millie the 83 year old shoplifting grandmother, Kevin the unemployed journalist son looking after his 4 children whilst his wife travels for work and Aideen the 16 year old sulky twin granddaughter.

Kevin hires Sylvia to help look after Millie in the hopes of it preventing her having to go into residential care and sends Aideen to a boarding school where she immediately makes friends with a troublemaker.

I love how the story is told from the perspective of the 3 separately and it feels like mini stories. It was a bit slow to start but the story soon picked up. The story really draws you into the family and you are rooting for them.

I would recommend this book as a lovely way to relax!!
