Better than I expected

I enjoyed this more than I expected. I found it an honest account which didn't try to portray Diana as faultless. It gives a sense of how suffocating life in the public eye must have been for Diana, and how she craved normality and escape from the paparazzi (but recognising that at times she actually enjoyed that attention). It also showed her sense of fun and love for her boys, and revealed examples of her compassion which made her so popular with the public. I liked how each chapter was a different trip. It made it easy to follow and dip in and out of. I liked the cover photo, and the photos included inside. This is probably the first book I've read about the royal family - I've previously just read newspaper articles. Not sure I'll seek out any more royal biographies, but thoroughly enjoyed this one.
