Joe Wilderness has resorted to the life of a smuggler as the Berlin Blockade begins to bite and fast money can be made. While Joe treats the Russians with respect his partners do not extend this virtue seeing only money to be gained from the predicament that the Russians have imposed on themselves. Into this web of intrigue comes Kostya a young Russian with his own ideas about what to have smuggled into East Berlin. Then a deal goes bad when Kostya cannot pay for what he has bought and this lead to tension between Joe and his partners, with Joe being pragmatic about ceasing some of their smuggling activities. Will his partners accept this and will the Russians continue to turn a blind eye to their activities?
