I really enjoyed Hana Khan Carries On! From the start of the story I adored the inclusion of modern day technology being used in a rom com. The idea of using a podcast in a rom com is one that I haven't come across before so I was really impressed with the author for including this.

Hana Khan is the main character and she is a young muslim woman. I was impressed with how the author has not only written Hana's experiences in a relateable way for young asians but also in an an enjoyable way for non asians. This is a very well written story.

From the start we are aware of who our two love interests are as it's written in a 'You've Got Mail' kind of way but that doesn't spoil the storyline at all.

This story covers so many themes from family, faith, friendship and food. But it also covers the more serious side of being a young asian in today's society. Racism and hate crimes are also covered and I'm glad that these are tackled by the authir in what is essentially a light hearted rom com.

I loved the front cover, it's so vibrant and attractive and I would definitely pick this up off a shelf in a book store. This is a very well written and enjoyable story. I enjoyed this author's previous book and I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
