This book was just SO engrossing - I read most of it in one day them immediately picked it up again to finish first thing the following morning.

As an MC, Hana was just phenomenal. I loved how engaging her narrative voice was and that really helped me get into the book and understand her talent for podcasting and journalism.

I loved the fact that the reveal surrounding how Aydin/StanleyP were the same person didn't come until after Hana and Aydin had resolved their irl issues with one another. I think it was a really good choice to show that they do actually have a good relationship with one another purely as people; that they didn't need to fall back on an anonymous online friendship in order to get along. I think if the only reason they co-operated was because of having already been friends without realising then their actual romantic relationship and the conflict resolution might have come across as somewhat cheap.

Final thoughts:
Speaking of reveals, loved the one regarding Afsana - it was hinted at enough to make sense whilst still being a bit of a surprise so overall it was a really satisfying twist.
Rashid and Kawkab Khala were such scene stealers - whenever they showed up was brilliant.
All in all, despite the conflict, hate and grief that also featured in this book, it was such a joyous read befitting such a bright cover.
