I really enjoyed 'Ayesha at last' so I was really pleased when this book came out. This is a really great rom-com so it works as a light read but it does also get you thinking about cultures and community and how people express themselves and are perceived by others. There are some really strong female characters in the book which I love. I would have liked some of the storylines to have come to a head a bit sooner and been explored more as a lot seemed to happen on the very last bit of the book and all got very neatly tied up very quickly. The book also explores family secrets which is really interesting and ties into various plotlines in the story. It felt like some of the stories weren't quite finished, could there be a sequel one day? If so I would definitely buy it. If Hana's podcast was real I would definitely want to listen to it. Overall a great read.
