This book was an easy read for a young Pakistani reader like myself. This was amazing Asian representation and was beautifully written. It Drew my attention from the very first sentence and indulged me in the characters life. I definitely recommend and great read. The book revolves around the young girl Hana khan who works in a family business and competes with the new halal business. A great and cute Rom com which balances heavy topics alongside cute moments. The heavy topics include hatred towards the Muslim community in modern day and can help educate society. I think it is very important for authors to make enjoying content whilst also voicing their opinions and views which was handled so well in this book. I read this book after “ayesha at last” and it did not disappoint! My favourite character has to be Hana her determination and resilience is inspiring
