I love books which are based around Irish families especially in the 80's when family life was quite oppressive. This is told from the point of view of Josephine and also from her 7 year old daughter Clare. I can't wait to read more and find out what is the reasons behind the poor relationship of Josephine and her mother and how it makes Josephine the mother she is to Clare.
