I've been a big fan of Rory Clements books, such as a prince and a spy for some time and timed my reading of the previous book in the Tom Wilde series so that I completed it and could move straight on to Hitler's Secret.
This era of history is fascinating, the descent of many normal people in pure evil beings and the fight of so many brave people to stop it. I think the books capture how I imagine the period to be, and the hero of the novels is a very "likable" character even if he is a bit too good to be true!
I really enjoyed this book. I enjoy blending real-life figures of the era with fictional creations in an imaginative story. This is definitely up my alley-in regards to historical fiction books which are compelling and interesting to read.No surprise that Rory Clements kills it again with this stunning and intriguing piece of literature. Massively recommend!
