We know of Himmler, Goring, Speer, Hess, fervant Nazi supporters of Hitler. But what of Martin Borman - a shadowy character and the least known of Hitler's sidekicks? Clements has done an excellent job of creating a manipulative and powerful man who wants to eliminate Hitler's secret, a package that professor Tom Wilde must retrieve from Germany.

I hadn't read the previous 3 Tom Wilde titles but found that wasn't necessary. The thriller flows well, the characterisation is good though I found Sunny Somerfeld, a good German, a bit weak but it may have been Clements intention for us, and Wilde, not to trust her. The torture of Romy is strongly written, and the secondary characters are well rounded. I'll certainly look out for other Rory Clement titles.
