I am a big fan of Susan Lewis and own many of her books. Home Truths will definitely be added to that collection. Angie is the wife of a murdered man with a missing son who may or may not have been involved in the death of his father. She is also mother to an emotional teenage girl and a five year old boy. With the bills mounting up the family have no choice but to move out of their much loved family home. Angie is brought to the brink of despair by mounting debt and worry for her children.
This book explores many of the real issues in society today, namely homelessness, poverty and the perils of taking drugs. The writing style is typical Susan Lewis and is a real page turner. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end.
