When i read the original first part of this story to give some first impressions i found this to be quite a sad start to a story although it did have me hooked from the very start (and i was throughout). I was desperately hoping that things were going to improve for the family. So as you can imagine i was really looking forward to reading more as i had felt it was 'great so far!' and i 'loved it'.
What i can say honestly is that i did in fact love this book once i had finished it and i'm kinda hoping that there will be more. i definitely feel their is room for this story to grow. The author did a absolutely stonking job of this story for sure.
I was able to become fully immersed and this story really felt quite real.The author touched on a lot of modern day reality for so many people and it was quite touching.
The ending was left in a good place despite how we came to it. would highly reccommend!!
