I'm not quite sure what to make of this extract. It didn't grip me and make me go I must continue reading this book. However, it also wasn't so dreadful that I would say I wouldn't want to read any more. There was a lot of mystery and it was all quite vague and disconnected. It will be interesting to see how more of the stories interweave as the book continues.
