I very much enjoyed Marc Raabe's previous book Cut and this new book Home Sick promises to be just as good.
It has been translated into English from German and unfortunately some of the awkward and stilted language that so often occurs after translation remains (page 10 'Fresh air rushed towards in' and page 23 'best not to part ways on an argument')
Hopefully the plot will be so good that these errors can be overlooked.
