Homesick is the first book by Marc Raabe that I have read and whilst I enjoyed some parts of it others I didn't.
The main character, Jesse, is late out of the hospital where he works and when he goes to pick up his daughter from his ex wife's house he finds his ex dead and his daughter missing.
Jesse is convinced that the solution to locating his daughter lies in his past and thereafter follows a journey across Germany to try and rescue her.
The story uses some chapters as "flashback" or "backstory" to help you understand what happened and why however I wasn't 100% convinced that this style fully worked.
The story itself was fast moving although I didn't buy into motives etc.
