Absolutely brilliant!
To begin I love the milestones in transplantation, it is handy to have some factual information and the timeline setting is very easy to follow. I think it is gripping because it is a real life memoir, which not only shows the day to day life of a transplant surgeon. I was impressed to see that he does not shy away from the major philosophical debates on whether we should give transplants or not.
