It came as no surprise to me that I enjoyed these first pages as I have loved similar books such as 'When Breath Becomes Air' & 'This Is Going To Hurt'. I feel Mezrich's book will equal these in both quality and popularity.

I very much liked the mix of personal and historical anecdotes. They blended together seamlessly and allowed me to grasp the significance of transplant surgery both to individuals and society at large without further research of my own.

The writers voice is clear and I feel as the book continues you will get a real sense of Mezrich as a man as well as a surgeon. This personal touch always adds an extra depth to this genre.
