I happened to pick this book up after my daughter had finished it and had recommended it to me. The cover of this book is fun, with the bright vibrant colours, which I feel represent the uniqueness and fun nature of this book. While romance stories aren't my usual genre, I have to say I really enjoyed this one. It was fun natured, humorous and just a nice easy read, without being overly heavy on the romance. I found the characters to be likeable, and thought the concept of the story was unique. I haven't previously read a book that set in an airport interrogation room and the story is being told to the interrogation officer! I liked that the story wasn't told completely from the main character Amir's perspective, with added parts from his family. I felt this helped to break the story up a little and added some variation. I liked that the book was easy to follow, which is useful when you're constantly having to put it down and pick up from where you left off!
