From the start of reading the summary for this I just knew I would love this book and boy dandy was I correct in that assumption, it comes across as a Bridget Jones' Diary meets Gossip Girl meets John Tucker must die combination and that is a lethal combination indeed for an avid reader of the lighter, more hearty and comical side of reading who likes to embrace the drama and embarrassment as they relate to each character in a story. The name of the book was quite misleading, as my first understanding was it was like "how to keep him interested" which is absolutely not my style at all. However the cover of the book was very lovely and engaging. I loved the bright yellow background and the comical couple on the top of the cake walking and laughing it was quite amusing and definitely showed the book was a wholehearted classic kind of read for when you need a book to make you smile.
