I enjoyed this first impression, I thought that it was a promising start to a summer holiday read. The scene was set quickly and characters introduced, just enough so that we could be aware who the main players were. I liked how the chapters are told from the point of view of different characters, giving us an incite into how the different friends are dealing with Lissa's death. A discord between the friends is illustrated early on, with Georgie turning up late and not following the dress code for the funeral either - is this to set her apart as the 'bad' one of the group, or some misdirection? I'd happily read on to find out...
