The story is told through narrators Georgie and Bron, their different perspectives and knowledg gives readers a better idea of what has been happening and why. Georgie is an executive who had distanced herself from the group by moving to New York and avoiding social gatherings with the others. Bronwyn tried to live as an ideal British housewife. When Bronwyn mother shows up the past shows that it could be easier said than done at times. I liked how Georgie is helped to put the pieces of the mystery together by the gradual release of her missing emails from the over-enthusiastic spam filter. I also appreciated the fact that no character is either completely good or bad. I was immediately drawn to How to kill your best friend because of the title and the cover. its fresh and pops out at you really draws you in and makes you want to read the book.
