I was totally engrossed in this dark novel focused on domestic violence.
Ria Taylor is the manager of a refuge for women. She receives a text saying someone is watching her. The novel escalates at an alarming pace as Ria has to decide whether to run or face her stalker. As well as Ria we have Tanya who's story is told through a diary. I won't reveal anymore as it will give the plot away but this was so gripping.
Ria is such a strong lead character and the author portrayed the subject of domestic violence very well without it being too much. There were a few twists through out which I sensed coming but the whole thrill of the novel was not dampened by this.
Finally the title of the novel is an absolute genius idea and can be taken several ways after reading the novel.
