Intriguing
Trigger warnings for domestic abuse which is very traumatic at times, it was dealt with fairly well in my opinion.
I was familiar with Jacqueline Ward after reading a previous book by this author and so when I saw this new novel I was intrigued to see whether I would enjoy this novel as well. It was definitely interesting but I crime isn't my usual genre so I didn't enjoy it fully.
The diary chapters were quite disturbing although they were very well written.
Every character had plenty of personality that really drew you in as a reader, the real life experiences this book is based on is quite harrowing to think about.
Although I do like the cover I think it could have been better, it's not that eye catching.
