After reading the description I was really looking forward to reading this book but, unfortunately, it wasn’t for me. The main character is a woman who runs a refuge for abused women and someone begins to stalk her. Running parallel to this story is the diary of a woman who is abused by her partner. There will obviously be a link between the two stories but to be honest I wasn’t really that interested in this book to find out what the link was. It’s not badly written at all, and it wasn’t the subject matter. There was just nothing about this book that caught my attention which was disappointing as I think highlighting work in an area like this is important. Sadly, however, this was one of the rare books I didn’t finish.
