This book reminded me a lot of YOU with that stalking perspective but it's from the other side point of view with the stalker watching your every move, every breath. This book is an amazing psychology thriller that really messes with your mind. The paranoia about who could be watching really sets in while reading this as it’s so easy to be watched/to watch people without anyone noticing.

There is an irony in the book which I highly enjoyed, it's the feeling of being safe all the time where people believe the safest place is your home it is not as he is watching her from inside, making the reader more paranoid as it is happening in their own house and questioning the construct of home. It also shows the reader how someone can get away from an abusive feeling of being watched and it's side effects that it can have on a persons mental health, in some parts questioning if the character is maybe imagining some of it and her brain constructing feelings or whether its real. She’s also without her husband which males the fear elevate in both ria and the reader knowing she’s alone. The book focuses on two women faced with abuse and how they rationalise it in completely two different ways and also explores how women can be in danger by strangers or even in their relationships.
