I think this is really a book that would be of interest to fellow comedians or psychology students.
The first hundred or so pages were interesting with instances of wit, humour and sarcasm which made me smile and appreciate how Robin Ince has made a living from comedy, although I haven't come across him before. Then the book got bogged down with quotations by Freud, Jung et al and I lost interest. Although I have enjoyed similar factual books such as The Chimp Paradox and Why We Sleep, I couldn't face reading beyond page 130 when I have so many other books which I am looking forward to reading. Life's too short to spend time doing something which you are not enjoying.
I'm sure lots of people will enjoy reading 'I'm a Joke and So Are You' but not me. Sorry.
