I absolutely love this series of books. This series is definitely one that I keep an eye on and always excited when I see a new book in the bookshops. The main character Cat Connolly is a very real character. The vulnerable nature that she is in this novel really allows you to put yourself in the position of many detectives every day out in the real world. As you read, you find yourself wanting her to get back to normal, and it can be upsetting at times, as you just want to comfort her and get her back to good health. However despite the personal element she manages to get her head back in the game and get closer to the professional killer. I would definitely recommend to all those looking for a good thriller novel to read.
