I read Ava Dellaira's first book, Love Letters to the Dead and absolutely loved it. It's still one of my favourite books to date. So naturally I was excited for her second book to be released. It definitely did not disappoint!
Firstly, I love how the book is told from two perspectives, a mother and a daughter: Marilyn and Angie. Secondly, I love how those perspectives are both told when each character is seventeen years old. Marilyn's story is about meeting the love of her life, whereas Angie's is about searching for a father she's never known.
The plot of this story was amazing and beautifully written. I know for sure that I will definitely be reading any new book that this author writes; by far one of my favourites!
