Really like the whole idea behind this story. Two women, related, but telling their stories form two different perspectives, ultimately both wanting the same thing - a feeling of longing and discovery of who they are.
I have been left wanting more, such a moreish read, and something that I can personally relate to. I think it is a real talent to be able to empathize with your readers, and Ava has managed to do that with me.
I like how the story transports you to the exact moments in the book, you can feel the oppressive heat, the dry air, and the sweatiness that is described. The desire to find out who you really are, the feeling of having to put up with you've got because you feel like you don't have any other choices. Waiting for a moment to make your move. Teenage angst almost. Definitely want to own a copy of this book and a definite must read!
